PNP Oplan Paglalansag Omega Arrested No.1 Wanted Person in Region 10

Tangub City – Number One Wanted Personality in Region 10 on Thursday (August 27) was arrested by the Northern Mindanao Criminal and Detection Unit (NORMINCIDU) under Regional chief Senior Superintendent Alexander Tagum together with elements from the Provincial Intelligence Branch under Supt Delmani Sudding and the Provincial Public Safety Company under Superintendent Benbo Jumalon and Tangub City Police Office under Superintendent Rey Alimanza.

In a PNP-CIDG report received by the Philippine News Agency, One Jeffrey Almidor y Adlaon of legal age, resident of Barangay Sumirap in Tangub City pursuant to a search warrant TC-2015-013 for the Violation of Illegal Possession of Firearms signed by Executive Judge Sylvia Singidas- Machacon of RTC 10^th Judicial Region, Branch 16, Tangub City resulted to his arrest and confiscation of One (1) Unit Caliber.45 with two Magazine, two (2) M203 Grenade and pieces of ammunition for the said caliber.

Regional chef Senior Superintendent Tagum disclosed that Jeffry Almidor alyas Lupen Unabia is the same person and an active member of Tyrus (Martilyo Gang) Criminal Group. Senior Superintendent Tagum added that the suspect was a former member of the Alferez Criminal Group and DI listed member of CG’s and ranked Number One in Region 10.

In the same search, another suspect Chingloyd Malabosa y LImbarong by virtue of search warrant TC-2015-014 for the Violation of Illegal Possession of Firearms issued by Executive Judge Sylvia Singidas-Machacon however the suspect was not around but during the search items were confiscated on his premises, One (1) unit Caliber.38 and ammunitions, One (1) unit 9mm Caspian Revolver, and ammunitions of Caliber .45, .38 and 9mm.

Some twenty six (26) pieces of heat sealed sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected “Shabu” with an estimated weight of 1.1 grams with an estimated street value of Php 10,000 pesos, ten (10) pieces of disposable lighters, One (1) piece tooter and used aluminum foils. Accordingly suspect Malabosa is also a DI Listed Member of a Criminal Group operating in Northern Mindanao.

They are now charge Violating RA 10591 and RA 9165 and being readied for filing in the court of law while Jeffry Almidor is in custody of the CIDT-CIDU Satellite Office in Cotta Area, Ozamiz City.
